We need that domain because we need to show that we Pivoters aren't just some 3rd party group of animators. People always look down on us and think that we suck because some of us can't afford a program that costs hundreds of dollars to use. We're thought of as 2nd rate animators, just because we can't do as much as people who use Flash. That domain has to go to us because we are not those things. In fact, we're more than what people think even if we use stick figures. Pivoters, are limited as to what we can do. Pivot doesn't have or use action scripting or motion tweens or smoothing tools. We have to make everything frame by frame and make sure everything looks right in order for it to look awesome.
What we are going to do with the domain is simple. We'll use it to show how Pivot isn't useless and to get people to start learning how to animate. Like I said earlier, we're just limited, it doesn't make Pivot more or less of an animation program. Sure, it probably is difficult to use but once you get a hang of it, you would know it inside and out. It'll also open a door of opportunities to work with other animation programs such as EZtoon or Flash. Most people don't realize that animating isn't just for pros or people who know a whole lot about computers and stuff, anyone can do it! With the domain people will begin to realize that it's not that hard unless you devote time into it and learn from your mistakes. That's why we should get that domain and what we would do with it.
